It is surprising to find "closure report" in a case u/s 304 B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 which reads as:
304B. Dowry death. -- (1) Where the death of a woman is caused by any burns or bodily injury or occurs otherwise than under normal circumstances within seven years of her marriage and it is shown that soon before her death she was subjected to cruelty or harassment by her husband or any relative of her husband for, or in connection with, any demand for dowry, such death shall be called "dowry death", and such husband or relative shall be deemed to have caused her death.
Explanation.For the purposes of this sub-section, "dowry" shall have the same meaning as in section 2 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (28 of 1961).
(2) Whoever commits dowry death shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than seven years but which may extend to imprisonment for life.

No never. DSP investigated this case because I told I am upsc aspirant and I had shown all my educational documents,and told pls save my future. Then they investigated in clean manner.after that closure report submitted in court 2 years ago. Now this time i selected JE in railway . Can it effect on my job? I have to fill attestation form that" at this time have your case pending in court? What will I write? Yes or no. I'm totally confuse

Whether closure report, if submitted by police u/s 173 CrPC, has been accepted by the Trial Court ?
If so, there is "NO" case against you.

If the closure report was accepted by the court then it would have passed an order disposing the case, so you find out the status of the case or the FIR from the court either through online or by visiting the court in person and then ascertain facts to enable you to move on.

Yes court accepted closure report and then informed to her father that closure report submitted by IO and till now no protest petition is given and he is not coming Closure report submitted 2 years ago.

What happened sir pls reply my question.? No arrest,no fine ,no summons nothing happened in this case. Final closure report submitted 2 years ago. Now I m going to join in railway. Is my case pending since 2 years? Investigating officer told your family is free now from this false case.

The problem is that you are too officious. Why you are running after the investigating officer?
Generally, the information sought in the attestation form as to character and antecedents is-
- whether you have been arrested?
-are you facing/convicted in a criminal trial?

It is simple logic and common sense that a person can be said to be facing a criminal case when he has received summons to appear for trial and the proceedings has not been completed.

If you are confused with facts especially court proceeding in the case, it is better to inspect the judicial file to find factual position.
