what is the maximum limit when gifting through the cheque?

if gift deed is franking what is the legal importance?

how the amt of franking is decided? is it is decided on the amt of the gift in cheque?

or on the natur of doc that is gift deed?

what are the main points to be covered in the gift deed?

Deer Pooja,
You can very well ask legal queries.
But being a student, you should ask all your academic queries to your teachers in your College and certainly not here.

HUF can give gift to his copasners irrespective of amount,and it will not be liable to Gift tax. It should be by cheque draft but not cash. for future reference gift deed is required if it is movable.
