gandfathers fathers property

my grandfather's father had some land and he, grandfather and my father died withour a will. My grandfather was only one son. My father- they were 4 brothers and 4 sisters . Five of them are surviving now. Please let us know we have any right in that property . If yes what will be our share %. We only know the place where we have land . How can / from where we collect complete information regarding the land. Please advise

All the legal heirs of your father have equal rights in respect of that properties.

Tahasildar office is competent authority, you can collect the all the information avialbale thereonly.

You all Brothers & sisiters are equally entitled to share out your father's share!

The details of date of deaths and whther the 3 who died- have legla heirs or not - these all the fats to be considered- to work out your share !

Dear Gian,
Mr Vishweshwar Rao has correctly replied to your quary but he left one thing i.e you can collect information of lands from Tahasildar or from revenue officer of the locality. You have also not given some information the position as regards the 3death persons(either uncles or aunts). please do provide the information and get the answer.

The details are below :

Aunts- 4 nos
uncles - 3 nos . 2 of them are no more

1 died without will and have 3 sons and one daughter

1 died with will distributing all of his property among 6 daughters

We are 3 brothers and 1 sister and all of them have given affidavit in my name for any property belong my father

Please let us know this property will distribute between all of our cousins,nephew, nice, aunts and uncle or between the surving aunts, uncle and the legal heirs of the died one. Pls. confirm

4 Sons + 4 dauthers total 8 Shares
your father had 1/8th share

You-brothers and sisters will get share in your father's 1/8 th share

How ever the dates of deaths of your father and grand father to be considered with reference to amended Act!
