Bank manager said that you have used ATM withdrawal and transaction was successful. But I had not used the same. Can I request for Video footage? If yes then where can i file my request.

File an online complaint with the RBI ombudsman with the details and the fraudulent withdrawal from your account.

are you sure that there is no possibility of your card being used by anyone else?

Only 1% possibility is there coz. ATM centre is just in front of my office. Office colleague may do this but its very difficult task. In this case can I ask for video footage? If yes then from where?

What do you mean by 1% chance. Do you mean to say that your password is known to some of your colleagues and that you are in the habit of leaving your wallet containing the Card on your table unattended and accessible by your colleagues?

No itsn't. It may be possible that someone collected the card from my bag when I was in wash room.

it can happen only by the use of your atm card only.
if you want to investigate the matter, make a police complaint too. Since the transaction took place via kotak Mahindra bank, their atm cabin may have the video.
once you make a complaint, most probably it may be traced back to your friends/colleague/relatives who have access to your atm.
so make your considering all these factors.
meanwhile try to spread the news that unless you get the money back within 24 hours or so,you are going to make the complaint to the police.some time the culprits may return the money anonymously,so that serious damages could be avoided .

Money lost is only Rs.5400/- Better be careful in future, for keeping your personal things, in office or anywhere else. If you are sure that you did not use the card and no body else used and taken money, file complaint with Banking Ombudsman. If you can forget Rs.5400/- leave it, to avoid further tension and money.

In what way the author can approach Banking Ombudsman when the transaction is successful. Only recourse the author is having is to file a complaint with the Police, who may verify the video footage (if it is installed and available) and find out the culprints. In which the Bank is a party for the negligence of the author?
