First time wife fresh passport application

Hi, I am Abhishek Mishra, i want to apply my wife passport. My wife sirname is Sharma, she has all docs with Sharma, in martiage certificate her name is Chhaya Sharma and my name is Abhishek Mishra,

1.Is it necessary to change wife sir name in passport ?

2. How to add my name in spouse column of my wife fresh passport.?

3. I have only Aadhar card and pan card, is this docs are enough for paasport. ?

Please suggest.

There is no law or rule or principle that the wife should have surname of the husband; it is a matter of personal discretion.

other part of query is procedural and not legal.

It depend upon you to include your surname with your wife name or not.

You can submit affidavit on prescribed format that surname was changed after marriage.
