How to get extra ordinary leave means it has to be sanctioned first or it will regularise after coming back to the job ? In probation period

Solve this issue ? One my officer said it will regularise but I want to know the true fact

It has to be sanctioned. It cannot be assumed automatic.

During probation period, if an employee goes on EOL, his/her probation period will be extended for which period he/she goes on EOL. Only on medical grounds, it may be sanctioned after joining and in other case, it shall be first sanctioned.

not able to fully agree with above views. Probation is not effected by being on any sanctioned leave.

normally all leaves are regularized after completion.
But there i a difference between sanctioned or not sanctioned leave.
Please do not invite any disciplinary action
