Non Payment of Pagdi rent

Hi,
My father had not paid monthly rent of our pagdi home from past 5yrs, landlord had issue him notice saying he had terminate his tenancy.

We had tried paying him the rent but he refused to take.

Please suggest how we can pay him the rent & save our home.

You can file rent in the Court of the Rent Controller however before that send a legal notice and bank cheque for the rent amount. You move the Court after the landlord refuse to except the legal notice or refuse to withdraw the rent amount paid by the bank cheque.

Deposit the rent in Court after following due process through a local prudent lawyer.
However, tenancy already stands terminated the owner/landlord has made up his mind get the premises vacated, very remote chance to stay in the premises.
