Legal action on boyfriend who promised to marry and is refus

(Querist) 10 October 2018 This query is : Resolved
I was in a relationship with a boy since last 2 years. We were quite serious with each other and he even told me that we would get married to me. Now he is in a relationship with another girl. Eventhough when i was in relationship with him, i became pregnant 3 times and i aborted because he was not ready to take all the responsibility but now he is capable to bear everything. He promised me that as soon as he will be settled down he will marry me. i m depressed and suicidal. I tried to commit suicide several times. My friend tries to contact him but he said that he does not feel anything for me.Also, i have chats where he had said we would get married.

Move to police with a criminal complaint with all the facts and documents, seeking professional services of a local lawyer.

The boy was in relationship with you and you had consensual sex with him number of time. There was 3 pregnancies because of the sexual relationship which were aborted by you with your free consent as you must have signed the documents relating to this when you went for abortion which too is illegal, how it was done will be matter of concern for both you and doctor who conducted it. During all these activities for last 2 years you never made any charges of cheating or rape on him either before any authority nor in any court.
According to you he had promised you for marriage which he refuse now and you want to make him agree for it. He is also involved with other female too.
Legally as such you have no case to prove against him unless his promise to marriage you can prove, based on which you got into sexual relationship with him. This promise to marriage need to be proved with concrete evidence that will clearly show he was doing all this to molestate your dignity and forced you by fraud to indulge in sexual relationship and not to marry you.
The man cheated you that seems to be but here he was doing it for last 2 years but you did not made out any charges for all these years. You went for abortion 3 times that too was good ground for charging him but here he will try his best to get you involved in illegal termination of pregnancy.
He's a cheat and not trustworthy person hence you should forget him and move ahead in life unless you are in look out something big by making it into legal cases to be filled that involves you both, waste time and money for both of you.

It is really unfair and fradulent action on the part of your boyfriend. I can very well understand your deep pain and agony! If you so determined as to teach him a lesson, you have the option of initiating criminal actions against him if you have concrete documentary as well as oral evidence for the same . Of course, such step may also give you unnecessary headaches too.

Alternatively, instead of spoiling your precious life by worrying on a failed love story with a negative mindset, you may muster the courage and grit to move ahead in life with double the vigour thinking that whatever has happened was for a good cause and that it is not the end of everything in your life but the Almighty God might have a more better plan for you. I know that such a course of action is not at all easy for an ordinary person as it requires a lot of maturity and prudence on your part. Think deeply with a cool mind and decide your with positive mind-frame. Best wishes dear sister.

Can't believe if you really face any such problem.

ON WHAT GROUND YOU BELIEVE THAT YOUR BF WOULD BE READY TO MARRY YOU ON SOME LEGAL ACTION? However, if you believe you can get him agreed for marriage with you, you need not ask any such question. Just hire services of some local lawyer, file a criminal case against him and wait till you get your case dismissed and further get your chances ruined for some happy married life with anyone else.

Question arises, who advised you to have such type of relationship to get pregnant three times without getting married also how could you arrive at a conclusion that your physical relationship would be a guarantee of your marriage with that boy?. Both of you are equally guilty for having physical relationship.

Had you been quite serious, you could well have refused advances of the boy friend till marriage promise matured.

In mutual consent physical relationship, you cannot also absolve yourself from the irresponsible behaviour. No law can compel him to marry you against his will.

Better forget past relationship for ever and get your marriage arranged somewhere else.
