Dv case dropped by acjm court

After almost 2 years of my wife's death the ACJM court Saharanpur has dropped the case. My wife's parents were perusing the case and also filed application for substitution and claimed to be Legal hires of my wife. No divorce has happened between me and my wife. Now after the dismissal of the case they have filed an appeal before the session court.

What should be my next course of action? How do i defend the appeal? is there any case law regarding this? Can they have locas to file criminal appeal? Please guide me.

What are the issues involved and what are the reliefs sought?

Reliefs sought are, maintenance, protection, access to my bank account, residence order etc. In fact no issues was formed in the case.
