Hi Experts,

My father and my uncle had a minor fight and my father didn't FIR in police station,he took the matter lightly as this is family matter.Now my uncle charged against my father and my mother under section 323,324,500 & 120b.
They got bail from court with the help of lawyer.

Now my question is that is there any possibilities of imprisonment or simple fine?

Please Help.

From the facts stated, the police have acted in a high handed manner. You may bring the matters to the notice of the SP of the District.

If the case is in court, defend the case on merits. Your father can try direct complaint with the Magistrate if proof available.

Did any one receive injuries in the squabble. Was it termed as Grievious injury.Since the chare sheet has been submitted, fght the case on merits. produce any eye wkitnesses that you might have. Was the provocation was of such a nture that it made the concerned party to lose histhinking capacity because of sudden anger caused. your lawyer may advise you after studying your case.
