Cost of ticket refund

I bought a bus ticket onlin from a reputed travwll agency TRAVELYAARI.COM. for the operator UTTARPRADESH STATE TRANSPORT CORPORATION.

but at the schedule date and time I reach to the bus stand and come to know that the bus is cancelled. I complain to the tickiting agency, they told that they forward the complain and confirm the cancellation status from the bus operator, but they are telling when the bus operator refund the tickit cost then they will refund me. it has been passed more than two month. If I want to take any legal action against whom I take, on travell agent or bus operator, And also where the complain to be lodge?

In order to solve your case, a number of information has to be taken. First, the place where you have booked the ticket and Second, the terms and conditions of the service of the booking agent.

In the terms and conditions, jurisdiction clause is mentioned. In this type of cases, it would come under the definition of "Deficiency of Services". For this purpose, complaint has to be filed in the District Consumer Forum. Complaint should be against the Booking Agency as well as the Bus Operator as the remedy is in the alternative.
