Legal heir certificate

Guest (Querist) 09 July 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi Experts,
Warm Greetings,
My grandfather had two wives, the first wife being my grandmother and the second wife is my grandmother's sister. Mt grandmother had 1.5 acres of land on her, bought in 1960 and my grandfather changed it to his name under the UDR in 1980's without getting my grandmother's consent. My grandmother passed away in 1992 & my father is the only surviving child (father's elder brother deceased at the age og 11). the second wife has 2 sons and a daughter. since my grandfather had not got consent from my grandmother for taking her 1.5 acres land, we are thinking of claiming it back as my father's step mother and step brothers are not coming to a consensus for dividing the property. for this we were asked to get a legal heir certificate for my father. we are not sure if it is necessary to include my grandfather's name in my grandmother's legal heir certificate. we are worried that if this might bring in ore trouble from my grandfather's second wife family.
We would be grateful for any help in this matter.
Thank you

you have to clear something..

is your grandfather still alive?

but surely your grandfather also one of the legal heir (if alive) of your grandma..

Now you have to get legal heir certificate for your grandfather alone..

Since the property already name changed to your grandfather, now no need to worry about your grandmother.
