In respect of amended plaint

Hello
Today i stated to the Court that in one case i am for a defendant no.2 and in that plaintiff presented an application for amendment for deleting the name of defendant no.1 and making me liable for all claim,thats a facts apart,and after that cour allowed an this application.plaintiff carried out an amendment.So i stated that after this plaintiff has to give an amended plaint and after that my right to give an amended w.s. court ask me that is there is any provision of giving amended plaint, i said yes because i read somewhere so can anybody help me for finding out that I am right or wrong and if right then please give me or suggest me any citation in this respect

When name is deleted plaintiff has to produce the amended plaint.
After amendment you will have to file additional WS.
