Employment exchange registration under rti

Hi

I require some information about an individual about his employment status in 2002-206.

Under RTI, is it possible to find out if he is registered with EMPLOYMENT EXCHANGE in his district.
------

And does ration card has some indication towards the income of family. I require some evidence to defend my case.

as per RTI law, could not get any individual information. if that person is a govt employee than will get concern dept.

Under RTI Act, the obligation of the Information is in providing the information as it exists. He is not required to generate the information as requested.

I agree with expert Venu. Information relating to yester-years are covered under RTI. The information sought under RTI should be in the public interest. Seeking information about the income on ration card also not covered under RTI. It may come under exempted category. Above all, what is your problem? If you come out clearly with your problem, experts may be in a position to give you the solution.

The RTI application is not maintainable against a private unaided institution. The information about Ration Card can be obtained but the same may not depict the true picture.
