Entry of name in 7/12 of land

Dear Sir,
What's procedure to enter my name in 7/12 in our combined property at village. My mother name is allready presentin above 7/12.Plz advise.

and where to appeal if Tahsildar raising any objection if my case is totally legal and I have all documents regarding above matter.

If your mother relinquishes her share in your favour (either full or part) by way of a registered Relinquishment deed only then you are entitled to get your name entered in the ownership column of 7/12 and Tehsildar is right in his approach if he is opposing without completion of this legal requirement.

You have not mentioned, how your mother acquired the land.

My mother has acquired share in land after marriage of her with my father.Wht's the need to relinguishment of her share to enter my name in 7/12.My Aunty also has her 2 sons name in 7/12 with her name.

shewas co owner of property. hence norder to relinqusih her share in your favour deed of relinquishment is necessary

kaushik! If your name can be got inserted in 7/12 without having got legal document of ownership, why not of me? and why not of others?

The case of your aunt may be different upon which we cannot comment without having document but you have clearly been advised to follow the process.
