can a state government suspended employee under suspension period lodge FIR against contractor as an employee?

Not for official purposes. A suspended employee is totally debarred from attending official duties.

sir, I am a State Government employee wokrs as a Jr.Engr & suspend from last 3 months. Under suspension period one of the contractor sign my duplicate signature on firm quotation. The detailed matter is put up to my Ex.Engr. in writting. The Ex.Engr draft a letter to me for lodging FIR against contractor. But as per my knowldge under suspension period I can't do any type of official duties. For this purpose I want a copy. Sir Plz help me.

As per A.R.Antulay's case anybody can put the criminal law into motion.You are well within your right to lodge FIR.
