During our colleges' festival, animals are brought and subjected to loud noise of band, just as in marriages
1. Is it cruelty to Animals?
2. Which laws are availble against it? (the matter belongs to Mumbai)
3. Which authorities can look into the matter or comlained to?

Easiest and the best way is to approach well known animal rights protection agents like CUPA, etc.

Prevention of cruelty of animals.

animal welfare and husbandry department, forest department.

The querry is not clear. The where abouts and stationing of animals etc are IMP. As Jaya said pl approach organisations fight for it. If no response from them let us read the Act in the office in the office hrs and in the mean time you give the details.
