sir/mam,
i want to know 2 things and have 1 problem of my father.
1. MY father took a hand loan by a person for financial crisis, and after 2 years it will be recovered as per agreement.now,that man is become a moneylender (illegal dont have any license) and taking 10% of emi on that.nowdays we protest against him and he threaten that he will give us treatment if we dont give that EMI.now sir what we will do? if we lodge an FIR then how my father get protection from that person.he dont beat my father , he just give threat in word.sir/mam please help me.
2.For the above problem we contact a lawyer(so called) , he took money from us and after that his legal firm get abolished. so how do we ordinary people know whether a lawyer is genuine or not?how we determine is they really in a specified court or not?
sir/mam, i am not have any instinct to insult lawyers but these mens r really cheating us in howrah,west bengal.

1. Report the matter to police and ensure lodging of FIR either directly by police or through court. Such anti-social and sucker of blood of innocent public should not be got scot free.
2. I do agree with you that some black sheep have entered in our royal profession who do not hesitate to cheat the layman.
You shall have to believe on public opinion. General litigants do praise the good lawyers every where. The voice of public is the voice of God. You may also take help of any experienced person for engaging a good lawyer. The members of Nationalist Lawyers Forum in Bengal are trustworthy.

Visit a court's bar room and you can meet a number of good lawyers.

Replied well by makkad sir. Report the police and visit the bar association from avoiding fake lawyer and consult always with a lawyer of repute in the respective field of that locality

Dear Joy,
I have great concern for your situation.If he is an unlicensed money lender,don't fear to give a police complaint for mental and physical harrasment.Immediately consult a good lawyer and also file a private case,if the police are not helpfull.

sir,
in many situations bank also charge illogical overdues on their client.i have a uncle we also suffer from this kind of illogical harashment by bank.
in that case what will be the action that need to be carried out by my dad's friend?
