Married daughter right in fathers property

Hi Law gurus,

--> My mother is one of the child out of 2 sons and 2 daughters for my grand father.
--> My grand father has own earned property (80%)and ancestrol property (20%)
--> Now both my grand father and grand mother not alive and there is no will written about the property

I need to know

--> Whether my mother has got any right in the property legally

And FYI, we leave in Karnataka state

your mother has rights as legal heir on her father self axquired property as he died intestae

Your mother has right in both the property self acquired and ancestral property of your grandfather because she is the legal heir and your grandfather died intesate

Your mother is entitled for the grant of 1/4 share out of total properties left by your maternal grand parents whether those may be ancestral or self acquired if those died after Nov 2005.
