wife claiming maintenance though well employed

Sir,

for a long time, my wife has been taking maintenance from me, by filing a case under 125. She is well placed and not only highly qualified but also drawing a heavy salary. I want to know -

1) how I can ask her company to reveal her employment history?

2) which all cases I can do against her, once I get written conformation from her company about her?

Place application under RTI and get the details and place the record before the Judge in the same case filed by her. showing all this can even reduce the compensation or atleast get some remedy from the court for reducing compensation. The fact is that mere conformation of her placement will not evade you from maintainence but may be reduced to some extent depending on the fact that when the mainatainece initailly was given at that time she was jobless or was working or her IT returns were not placed on records etc etc....

Your wife is employee before whom? If she is govt employee mean just you can prove it and her salary through R.t.i act.. If her salary credited through her bank account mean you can collect her bank statement,

1. You can summon her emplyer to the couurt and ask for her salary details. The RTI application would lie only if she worjks in a public organisation.
