I am the only son of my parents and i have one younger sister. our residential property in chennai is a ancestral property.

DEAR SIR, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE IMMEDIATE REPLY. SIR, I DON'T HAVE ANY DOCUMENTS OF MY HOUSE LIKE SURVEY NUMBER OR PATTA OR ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS.

PLEASE GUIDE ME THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AND PROCEDURES TO FILE THE CASE AND TO CLAIM THE SHARE. SHOULD I HAVE TO SEND THE PETITION TO BOTH THE PARTIES OR TO MY PARENTS.IF MY PARENTS HAVE CONVERTED THE MONEY INTO BUYING MOVEABLE OR IMMOVEABLE PROPERTIES, THEN HOW CAN I CLAIM FOR THE PROPERTY SHARE. WHILE SELLING THE HOUSE, THEY HAVE NOT INTIMATED TO THE LEGAL HEIRS.

if you know ancestral property owner name,to issue the news paper like what you said then file a case to declaration suit /partition suit.
