My friend living in Thane in chawal more Thane 40 years but he not paid any rent our tax some one pay tax but they also not a property holder (relative op h)
What to my friend authority that house

This Chawl has the different meaning for different people This myself noticed in Thane and Mumbai.
Second thing either Property Tax is imposed /Slum charges are imposed out of two one is imposed that is 100% sure in Thane
Third, whether it is slum or no Slum under the provision of Maharashtra Slum area act determines a lot.
