Witnesses can't traced !

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 June 2015 This query is : Resolved 
In a criminal case the witnesses who were present at the time of Panchnama can not be traced by police. They might have left the city and their permanent address is not known. What to do in the matter ?
