Mothers property

(Querist) 17 November 2014 This query is : Resolved 
We have our house registered on our mother name.

My father is having some cheque bounce cases in court; can court claim our house as a penalty?

1. Since the house is in the name of the mother then such property cannot be ordered for attachment by the court.
