After the death of the karta the property is fully partitioned between the co-parceners who in turn form their respective HUF's.

Tobe Karta of family has nothing to do with the property.Karta is merely administering the family affairs.So far the property is concerned it will pass according to the nature of the property.

I agree with Mr Niranjan.

After death of Karta, the property will continued to be owned by the HUF and a new Karta will be appointed, unless there is a partition of HUF.
