Doubt regarding sec 406

Hi Respected Sir/Madam

My bhabhi put 498A and DV case on my brother and my parents, In the FIR she mentioned that my brother has taken all her Jewellary. But the fact is she has taken all her jewellary while leaving.

Earlier i was staying separately with my wife and child but after that incident my brother and my parents staying along with me in my owned house.
My questioned is can police come to my house for collecting that fictitious jewellary just to harassed us As my brother is now staying with me.

Still she has not filed sec 406.

Yes. They can search any place where storage of 406 property can be suspected.

I Already said there is no jewellary , if you read it properly.
I am asking just to harassed me and my family can they do so legally, means without any search warrant and all that.

If she complains u/s 406 the police has every power to search for it. This is search is very much legal. It will be done in accordance with the law.
