Name change

I want to change my name in all my educational certificates, for which I want to publish the name change in State Gazette.

But the CBSE requires the original affidavit to change the name in all documents.

So can someone tell me whether the same is required for publication in Government or State Gazette.

So can someone give their advice on this ?

1. Execute an affidavit.
2. Publish it 2 newspapers (English & local language).
3. Approach Gazette department of your state for publication.

If cbse is asking only affidavit. It is sufficient.

If CBSE is okay with an affidavit, go by it why do you want to go behind the gazette publication too.
