Dear Members,
Any one conversant with State Information Commission Tamilnadu procedures may pls advise me on the following.
I made a petition under RTI Act to PIO Corporation Zone VIII; since the information given was not on the question I posed to him I filed a petition to First Appellate Authority. It is more than the 30 days time that I should have got the correct information. I will during next week make a second appeal; this time it will be to State Information commission.
Will the SIC forward my petition to PIO asking him to furnish me info that I asked or will conduct a proceeding before him involving me and PIO and ensure information is given to me?

SIC will conduct the proceedings involving both the parties - generaly by way of video conference and gives its decision then and there. Hence you are advised to approach the second appellate authority.

Dear Experts,
Thanks for your prompt answers.
Tamilnadu SIC does not have online complaint lodging facility. Does SIC accept petitions by registered post and if so how many copies are to be sent
