Dear sir/madam,
A family friend who is divorced from his first wife with son who is in the custody of wife is getting married to a another lady also divorced from her first husband and having a son in her custody from first husband. Please advise what legal formalities need to be complied with before and after marriage so that there will be no claims and rights from the seperated spouces of both.

No one except from Muslim religion is legally empowered to marry second time without getting divorce from first spouse.
The second marriage in such case would be illegal and liable for criminal prosecution u/s 494 IPC.

If both are divorced, they can marry.
Children from previous marriage would have claim on the property of their biological parents.
