How to find out as to whether one has gone to supreme court by way of SLP ?

SLP, by itself, does not amount to an action in law. It is only when leave is granted, it becomes an appeal. Leave is granted only if substantial questions of law is involved.

There is no chance of ex-parte stay even if Leave is granted. If too anxious, you may file a caveat.
R.K Nanda (Expert) 28 June 2015
search SC website by parties name to find out if any SLP is filed.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 28 June 2015
Search Supreme Court web.
