Refund of my college fee

respected sir,
I have taken admission in Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU, deemed univ.), Mullana , Ambala (Haryana). I have deposited my full fee i.e. 40,000/- on 30/08/2013.
Classes were started on 5/09/2013.
but by mean time I cleared the exam of central univ. of Punjab. Now I want to cancel my candidature from MMU.
But they are refusing to refund my fee.
please guide me what to do to get back my fee.

issue legal notice to collge for refund of your fees paid in advance .

As the classes had started from 05.09.2013 so you are not entitled for the refund of entire fee as per guidelines set by Hon'ble Supreme Court in this regard rather university fee etc. can only be claimed by you.

sir the fee was distributed as follow:
regestration fee : 10000/-
annual fee: 30000/-
Nothing is mentioned like caution money, or other charges in the prospect.
and sir i have not attended any class.

You cannot get back the fees.
It was your choice to take admission.
You can withdraw the admission but cannot get back fees.
Some institutions also ask the withdrawing student to pay fees for whole of the years of education of the course.
At lease you are not being asked that.
In your place some other needy student would have taken admission.
So no refund of fees.
No use pursuing the matter legally.
You will waste money further...
