Dear Sir, the child custody case (GWA Act) which i filed in district court, chennai went ex-parte and is in final stage( Status : requires further evidence). At this point my ex-wife stayed this case by filing the transfer petition in SC and i have no objection for the transfer. If the child custody case is transferred then whether the case will start from the beginning in another court or from the point where it got stayed? please help.

Dear Sir, as of now the status is ex-parte, but once the case got transfered to another court and my ex-wife start contesting the case, nevertheless the case remain ex-parte? please illuminate
