i issue chaque as a securite to a party
but party cheat with me than i stop payment after some day they issue me to notice without mention any liability ammount as well as no mention chaque issue

my questation is notice is legel or illegel

You have not mentioned the contents of notice without which no definite reply can be given whether the same is legal or illegal.

Any notice received from a lawyer is legal.Come out with the clear subject inorder to get the correct advice from the experts.

If the amount of the cheque is not explicitly demanded in the notice, then notice is defective.

Cheque details also should be given.

Still it is better if you post the notice for further advise.
