Highcourt

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 19 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
sir
i obtained some of the documents under Right to information from police station. i filed the same in highcourt. will high court will admit those documents without calling PIO. i filed xerox copies of that.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 19 January 2012
Yes the High Court would consider those documents but only if the Proceeding before it is in Civil or Criminal Revisioanl jurisdiction.

In Appeal, the high court can not look into any new documents unless it is first allowed as Additional Evidence.
Deepak Nair (Expert) 19 January 2012
I agree with Mr.Barman
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 19 January 2012
Generally translated copies with the affidavit of the appellant are filed before high court so there is no occasion to cal for PIO.

yes.. h.c will admit it..

xerox copies enough before h.c.. even just keep the original copies to produce at the time of arguments.. after that you can collect back..
