Sir,
I want to know whether a company can raised a sale invoice to its branch office at another state, or it can only make branch transfer to its branches of other states ?
Sailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 13 January 2012
no need for to raise sale invoice to its branch office. Just make branch transfer.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 13 January 2012
Very intelligent answer by dear Shah.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 14 January 2012
This is only a branch transfer issue so no sale invoice is required for this purpose even though branch is situated in some other State.
Deepak Nair (Expert) 14 January 2012
Agree, You are not required to raise a sale invoice.
Sankaranarayanan (Expert) 14 January 2012
yes it is come under the branch transfer and you raise the invoice in your branch with their branch address and local tin number .In the place of tax column you have to mention that branch transfer against form F
In the mean time the branch also shown the invoice under stock transfer in the appropriate column against from f. and subsequently collect the from f and send to the office those raised the invoice.

You have to do all this home work as suggested by SANKAR.

If not done it will be treated tax evasion and state penalties are heavy.
R K JAIN (Expert) 14 January 2012
There must be two party when we make the sale. So the sale can not be made to self. There is no alternate then branch transfer.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 14 January 2012
rightly advised above. Do follow the advices.
