Terrace Covering and enclosing

(Querist) 15 January 2011 This query is : Resolved 
I wanted to know weather flat owner can cover the open terrace of his flat with chapra and cover with grill? I wanted some high court judgements of bombay High Court.

The secure the place of habitation no decision is required. It is the duty of the builder to provide such safety measures . When he has failed to do so then the flat occupiers have got every right to do the same.
