Can a wife file 498A once 2007 Dec and second in 2009 in different police stations

No for same cause of action and if for separate cause of action then the second one would go for vexatious nature.

There is no bar to file either number of FIRs for different occasions for different reasons. Section 498A pertains to harassment and torture to wife by husband or his family members and if repeatedly such events take place then wife has got every right to sue such accused every time for new reasons/cause of action and may on different places wherein such cause of action arose.

If there is two occurances , wife can file complaint to police who is having the jurisdiction of the places of cause of action

If cause of action is different and it was taken place in the jurisdiction of another police station then she can file a complaint.
