Contempt application after filing sca

I have a clear case of contempt.. contempt was done in the year 2015. I had filed sca in the year 2017. Presently my sca is at final hearing stage. Can I withdraw my SCA and can file contempt petition now.

What are the chances of condonation of delay.

after expiry of one year contempt does not lie and consult your present lawyer who is conversant with your material proceeding may give appropriate advise.

It is also a point to be reckoned that the contempt petition could have been filed within once year of accrual of cause of action.

What is the opinion and advise of the lawyer engaged /paid by you, who is well aware about facts and circumstances of the case, an able, competent and intelligent enough to advise and proceed???

You hav been properly advised by your lawyer that the contempt petition is not maintainable if it is filed beyond one year.
Meaning thereby is that the grievances cannot remain more than a year when the matter was sought for an immediate relief
