Name change.

Respected sir,

My daughter is birth place in Chandigarh and in the registration form I fill the name Pridhi instead of Paridhi. The birth certificate is issued by Chandigarh Administration. After time and again requests the administration staff refuse to correct the name Pridhi. The actual name is Paridhi but at the time of admission in school the school administration only accept the name of Pridhi as mentioned in the Registration Certificate. Kindly intimate me what type of procedure I have to adopt so that the School Administration accept Paridhi not Pridhi as mentioned in the Birth Registration Certificate.

Affirm an affidavit and make gazette notification.

Get an affidavit prepared, give news paper ad and give gazette notification.

Give the copy of affidavit to Chandigarh Administration and School to effect the change in records. If does not agree, obtain court orders.
