Dear Sir,
I have resigned from BSNL(Central PSU,100% owned by Govt.) and has joined Deptt. of Electronic and IT (DEITY),Ministry of Communication and IT in June 2014.While applying in DEITY I have got the permission(through proper channel)from BSNL to appear in interview.
I was working in BSNL as a Sub Divisional Engineer from Dec 2001.
Will my service period will be counted in DEITY.

Dear Sir,
Personnel Division says that since BSNL is a PSU therefore they will not count my previous service.

Past service shall definitely be counted as you have obtained prior permission and pay protection is available to you. Make representation to the higher officers.

Dear Sir,
I have met with higher officer but they said that I may make the representation with suitable circular/Govt. order addressing this kind of case.
Sir, therefore I request that if there is any such order /circulars from Govt. of India where counting of service is considered when a candidate moves from Central PSU to Central Govt.
Thanks

Dear Sir,
BSNL is ready to pay Leave encashment and gratuity, however in BSNL I was not entitled for pension benefits. I was having EPF contribution.

In the given facts, you should also become ensure whether the grauity is being offered counting your previous service or only with BSNL?

Dear Sir,
After my graduation ,Service at BSNL was my first job which I joined in Dec 2001 and BSNL is giving the gratuity for the service which I rendered there from Dec 2001 to June 2014.

If BSNL has counted your service for the purpose of the gratuity from the date you joined there then there are no chances to count the previous service for all other purposes.

The services rendered by you in BSNL will not be taken into account for the Govt. Service in DEITY.
