Non creamy layer certificate

sir,
I m self employed having income of 3lac/annum from my profession. And my wife is also earning Rs.1,42,200/ per annum as a salary from private educational institute since last three years and her income is not having any growth for next 3 years.My son is eligble to get non creamy layer certificate during 2013-14 or not?.
I want to know is my wife's income from salary also consider for non creamy layer certificate?

The income of both the parents together will be taken to determine the non-creamy layer status of OBCs. However, it is raised upwards in 2011 and presently it is - those with an annual income of Rs 12 lakh in metros eligible for job reservations. The eligibility level in non-metros will be an annual income of Rs 9 lakh. You are eligible to claim non-creamy layer satus under OBC (if belong to OBC category).

You have no problem i getting such certificate from the office of local SM.
