My brother job at risk

My brother was in jail for 498a bail.
Now his company asking him to resign.
They have given him 1 month time for look for another job.
It is very difficult for him to get any new job because he is in depression.
What will happen in my sister in law maintenance case when my brother got termination from his job?

even if your brother is unemeployed he is required to maintain his wife . the income of husband is taken into consideration while passing order of maintenance . his wife may not get the fancy amount she wanted when her husband was working but will get some amount from court

The quantum of maintenance shall get reduced in that event.

Does the company have any registered standing orders laying such condition of service.
