Divorce and after 498a

Hi Resp experts

I have taken divorce 2 months back from my wife by MCD but the prb is now she is threating me to file false 498a case.
After taking huge settelement amount money she still not happy she is telling that i want to destroy your entire family.

Can she really file 498a after divorce

After divorce no fresh 498A case lies.
Record her threats and file compliant in PS for criminal intimidation.

Agreed, if the threats are being received through third person, they may also be treated as witness in your favor.

The threat of your ex. wife should be got recorded by you and then you should file a police complaint of extortion against her as you have no relationship with her now and she is only an unknown person for you as per legal provisions. You need not fear rather teach her a lesson.
