My lawyers is applying litigation expenses. My doubt is since I am earning whether this litigation litigation expenses will succeed?

Your lawyer is right. It has no relation with earning litigant or non earning litigant.

Your lawyer is correct. There is relation with your earning and litigation expenses.

Just think, if you have not made any expense on litigation. There is no relation between litigation expenses and earning capacity of a litigant.
