the evidence of 2nd witness is not taken up immediatedly after first witness has been examined on oath and cross examined .

the evidence is matter of court record . parties to petition can go through the records

Matrimonial being civil procedure. What you are talking about is only provided for criminal procedure.

There is no bar for perusal of the earlier evidence.
But the evidence of a a witness can not happen in presence of another witness who is not examined as yet.

There is no such official procedure to access the evidence of the previous witness by coming witness.

The trick is to cross-examine all material witnesses on the same day, by keeping the other witnesses out of court.

Does the court grant sufficient time in 1 day to cross-examine, if there are 10s of witnesses ?
