Name of relatives -charge sheet u/s 498a

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 07 August 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/Madam,
As my wife has filed 498A agst me,my father and relatives-who live 80 kms away from my home.A 2 yrs time lapsed, statement of wife delivered before court, statements of others from her end are in process.I applied for revesion of charge but charge maintained.the police deleted charge/names of relatives in charge sheet after investigation (also this was totally false 498 A case and was filed for money.there is only me and my old father in my family)
As now I have filed a defamation case agst wife for a false allegation for which i have proof from the authorities.
Can my wife do something at this stage for taking/harrasing relatives to court,in revenge to defam.case filed by me on right ground. if it so,is there any remedy for me.
thanks with regards

1) go for divorce by nutual consent .
2) filing of defamation case will create more biterness with your wife
3) fix a meeting and trash all issues .
4) if divorce is contested it is going to take couple of years and both your lives will be ruined

As she has already concluded her statement before court so there is no scope for her to involve your relatives in the case whose names were deleted by police during investigation and even scope for filing fresh complaint against them on reasonable grounds is also blak merely on the ground that you have filed a case for defamation against her.

Whats the prayer in your defamation case? I hope still your 498.a case is pending. While being your 498.a case is pending then how can prove your case? If you got conviction mean automatically your defamation case will be dismissed. But your relative persons where were discharged from the charges can file defamation against your wife.
