Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 March 2011 This query is : Resolved
Dear sir,

what is the difference when husband claims divorce or when wife claims for divorce?

if husband having property what he had bought before marriage is also included when divorce maintence consideration takes place by the court.?

thanks in advance

Nothing.
Immovable properties are not taken into consideration to determine the alimony unless the same is substantially income generating.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 04 March 2011
Agreed with Mr Barman.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 04 March 2011
The value of the property is not important, the income from all the source is very much important.
Guest (Expert) 04 March 2011
Maintenance charges depend upon the recurring income of the husband from all sources.
