167(2) of Cr.P.c

(Querist) 14 December 2010 This query is : Resolved 
Three accused are arrested as on 18th of October 2010. The other co-accused is arrested as on 27th of October. So wanted an expert opinion so as to the days to be calculated for statutory bail u/s 167(2), wheter to be calculated jointly for all or severally as per the arrests. Also case laws concerning the said cause.

Also an opinion on from when the days are to be calculated i.e from the date of arrest or from the date of the first remand (presented before the magistrate)
