My DOB is wrong in my passport,my actual DOB is 15/03/87 and in Passport is sated as 15/03/1989. My first passport was issued in 2003 at that time i was minor than at time of renewal in 2008 i apply again than i attached my SSC mark sheet with the form in that my DOB is 15/03/1987 and with this issue the passport not sawn the document they redirect my passport again with the wrong DOB i.e is 15/03/1989,so now please tell me how to change my DOB in passport i have already prepared a Affidavit with stamp of 10 sign by additional police comisioner is it enough or more document is needed.

along with the affidvait, ssc mark sheet or LC is required and/or Birth Certificate attach all this and make an appllication for correction in the format required by the Passport Office .
If this doesnot work out then you have to move court for a declaratory order from a FIRST CLASS JUDICIAL MAGISTRATE ordering the Passport issuing authority to amend the passport. there is no option for this

You should declare your actual DOB before the Judicial Magistrate by affirm an Affidavit, then contact with Passport office for necessary correction.

If you want to change the date/place of birth in the passport, you need to apply for "RE-ISSUE" of passport and submit the filled in application form at your nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK). A new passport booklet would be issued to you.
Old Passport in original with self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages, including ECR/Non-ECR page (previously ECNR) and the page of observation (if any), made by Passport Issuing Authority and validity extension page, if any, in respect of short validity passport
Since you were born prior to 26.1.1989, you are required to submit atleast 1 of the documents listed below:
1 Birth certificate issued by a Municipal Authority or any office authorized to issue Birth and Death Certificate by the Registrar of Births & Deaths.
2 School leaving certificate / Secondary School leaving certificate/ Certificate of Recognized Boards from the school last attended by the applicant or any other recognized educational institution.

If this will not work,declare in the Govt.Gazzatte and submit the copy of it to RPO.
