marriage before 21 years for boy ang girl is 19

hello all,

one of my relative married her age is 19 at the time marriage and boy age is 20 years 9 months and 17 days in may 2006 and they are stayed together 2 years

now they are not staying together and she is continiung her stuidies again, now the boy is giving threats to her family and scolding on roads abusively

is this marriage is valid as per the boy age is not more than 21 years at the time of marraige

The marriage is valid but it may declare voidable through Court.

It is valid. Better to seek divorce on the grounds of desertion and cruelty instead of annualation on the groud of age. If he scolds and abuses, the family members, they can lodge complaint with police.

It is a valid marriage. It is neither void nor voidable marriage. The solution to problem is to take resort of the provisions of Domestic Violence Act and seek the remedy of "protection" at the place of living and workplace. If she does not want to stay with him at any time in future, then divorce is the option.
